About the Travel Grant
The Women in Machine Learning Conference Travel Grant provides $500 to support women presenting or attending major AI and ML conferences.
Our goal is to make it easier for women to participate, network, and showcase their expertise in global professional settings.
Award Details
- Amount: $500–$1,000
- Number of Grants: 1–3 annually
- Frequency: Annual
- Use of Funds: Travel, lodging, registration fees, or visa costs
Eligible Conferences
Funding can be applied to events such as:
- NeurIPS
- ICML
- AAAI
- ICLR
- Grace Hopper Celebration
- Other relevant ML/AI conferences
Eligibility Requirements
Female applicants must:
- Be presenting or registered to attend a qualifying conference
- Submit all application materials before the deadline

- Proof of Conference Acceptance or Registration
- Statement of Purpose (300–500 words) explaining how attending will benefit your career and the ML community
- Resume or CV
- Optional: Link to accepted paper, abstract, or presentation

- Recipients will be featured on our site with headshots, bios, and conference highlights
