Program Overview

Kent State’s M.S. in Artificial Intelligence provides focused graduate study in AI, machine learning, intelligent analytics, robotics, visualization, and data-intensive computing.

Admissions

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA.

Kent State lists GRE scores, official transcripts, a résumé, a goal statement, and two letters of recommendation among the application requirements. Applicants also need preparation in higher-level algebra, geometry, and calculus. The university strongly recommends prior computer science coursework in programming, discrete structures, data structures, operating systems, databases, and algorithms.
